Recently, the very popular free word game got the Xbox Live tag.With this update a lot of new features were added and many bugs are removed. Support for other languages like Spanish has been added. The essence of the old game is still there, and has been improved considerably.
For all who don't know, Wordament is a Massively Multiplayer Online Word Game. As with all great games, the idea is not quite complicated. You need to find as many words as you can on a 4x4 grid of letters before two minutes run out. Words can be made in a line, diagonally, or a mixture of both, but you can't jump letters.
During the two minutes, You need to find as many words as you can. After that, you are shown the words you found and the words you couldn't, the latter are put in two divisions - common and obscure. And then, you get your world ranking. With your rank, you also see the top ten, and people close to your rank. You also get the rank of your frenemies - your xbox live friends and people you add on wordament.
There are a lot of xbox achievements to unlock, making it even more irresistible.
It is an awesome game to begin with, but does have some issues. It needs a steady internet connection to work, and sometimes,er.. actually, a lot of times, you start at the middle of a game, which is frustrating, although your stats are not hurt.
This free ad supported game is a fun way for Casual Gamers to spend some time. For me, it is a must have game for everyone with a Windows Phone.
